TRAINING PROGRAM BOOKING, CANCELLATION and NO SHOW POLICY          

To secure a confirmed booking within one of our training programs full payment is required prior to candidate acceptance.  The payment secures the candidates position on the program and includes all advertised text, training materials and assessment fees.

The Program Fee does not infer that the candidate will gain automatic qualifications, as qualifications are only granted to candidates who successfully complete all elements of the program.

If Candidates are deemed Not Yet Competent at the completion of a Training Program a Service Fee may be negotiated with the candidate to cover any additional training/coaching that may be required plus a fee for a subsequent Workplace Practical Assessment.  This is agreed with the candidate on a case-by-case basis.

If a late change becomes unavoidable we are always prepared to negotiate a reasonable outcome in consideration of the individual circumstances.

Industry Training Programs:

  1. In the event of confirmed cancellation within 7 working days prior to the program a 5% Service Fee will be charged if the vacancy is not covered.
  2. In the event of confirmed cancellation within 3 full working days prior to the program a 50% Service Fee will be charged if the vacancy is not covered.
  3. In the event of failure to show on the program, without prior notice, the non-attending candidate will be charged the full fee for the program.
One-on-one and Client Specific Training Programs:
  1. In the event of confirmed cancellation within 7 working days prior to the program a 15% Service Fee will be charged if the vacancy is not covered.
  2. In the event of confirmed cancellation within 3 full working days prior to the program a 60% Service Fee will be charged if the vacancy is not covered.
  3. In the event of a Program being re-booked following an initial cancellation and that program again being cancelled within 3 full working days of the subsequent booking a 100% Service Fee will be charged if the vacancy is not covered.
  4. In the event of failure to show on the program, without prior notice as detailed above, the non-attending candidate will be charged the full fee for the program.
  5. In the event of non completion of the program within 6 (Six) months of commencement, unless an extension has been applied for and granted, the candidate's registration will be cancelled and no refund forthcoming.

In the event that air travel and accommodation have been pre-booked the client will be charged the full rate as charged by the service provider venue, airfares and accommodation as detailed on their invoice. 

In the case of unforeseeable circumstances resulting in the program being cancelled by us, a full refund of monies paid will apply.

REASONS FOR POLICY

While we always regret the necessity to impose charges upon candidates who do not attend the booked program, we have found it necessary to make these charges in the certain circumstances set out above in the hope that it will encourage candidates to commit to the planned program and to assist us in meeting the financial commitments involved in planning and conducting training programs.

In the case of one-on-one and client specific programs the trainer/assessor still needs to be paid and a suitable cancellation time must be expected in order for the trainer/assessor to accept an alternative contract where a cancellation has occurred.

We set our program rates at base levels without building in a provisional cost of "no-show" candidates.
